Buying guide — Dishwashing
Choose by how many racks you wash at your busiest time.
Hood-type machines handle volume; undercounter units fit small kitchens and bars.
A water softener protects the machine and gives spotless glasses.
Tables and a pre-wash sink on either side make the dishwashing area efficient.

Frequently asked questions
Glass washer or hood type dishwasher — which do I need?
A glass washer is compact and suits bars and cafés washing glasses and cups. A hood type dishwasher washes full racks of plates, glasses and cutlery in short cycles and suits restaurants, hotels and canteens.
Do commercial dishwashers need a water softener?
Where water is hard, a softener is strongly recommended. It prevents scale on the heating elements and spray arms, and gives cleaner, spot-free results.
How do I choose a dishwasher's capacity?
Capacity is rated in racks per hour. Count the plates, glasses and cutlery you wash at your busiest service and choose a machine that clears them without a backlog.
Do you install dishwashers with water and drain connections?
Yes. We install the dishwasher with its water, drain and power connections, and provide service and spares.
