What should I check when choosing a laboratory freezer?

Can a domestic freezer be used in a laboratory?
It is not recommended. Laboratory freezers are built to hold temperature closely, recover quickly after the door is opened, and give alarms if the temperature goes out of range.
What power backup does a laboratory freezer need?
Samples and medicines can be lost in a power cut, so a stabiliser and a suitable power backup are recommended. We advise on the power load when you order.
